The Basics
General Questions
We build pergolas, patios, alfresco areas and carports across the Perth metro. That covers freestanding, attached, gable, flat-roof and louvre opening-roof pergolas, all in Australian-made steel and Colorbond. Every structure is built in-house by our own team and backed by a lifetime workmanship guarantee.
No. We come out for a free onsite measure, talk through the options and give you a fixed written quote with the roof style, span and Colorbond colour locked in. There's no charge and no obligation.
It's fixed. The price on your written quote is the price you pay, with the engineering, permits, materials, installation and clean-up all included. We don't add surprise extras once the job starts.
We build everything in-house with our own tradespeople. The people who quote your pergola are the same people who turn up and build it, which is how we keep the quality and the guarantee behind every job.

Materials & Durability
Steel, Colorbond & Upkeep
We build in Australian-made BlueScope steel and Colorbond. We chose those materials because they stand up to the Perth sun, rain and coastal salt air, and hold their look for decades with almost no maintenance, no rotting, warping or re-oiling.
A properly engineered steel and Colorbond structure is built to last for decades. It won't rot, warp or need re-oiling, and the Colorbond finish holds its colour through full Perth summers. That's why we can back every build with a lifetime workmanship guarantee.
Yes. Your pergola is finished in genuine Colorbond, so we match the colour to your roof, fascia, gutters or fence. We confirm the colour with you at the measure so the finished structure reads as part of the home.
Very little. An occasional rinse to keep the Colorbond clean is about it. There's no sanding, oiling or repainting, which is one of the main reasons homeowners choose steel and Colorbond for an outdoor structure in Perth.

Process, Cost & Timeframes
Quotes, Pricing & Build Time
It depends on the size, the roof style (flat, gable or opening-roof louvre) and the finish you choose. Rather than guess, we come out for a free onsite measure and give you a fixed written quote, so you know the exact price before any work starts.
Most standard pergolas are installed in one to three days on site once the materials are ready and approvals are through. Larger or more complex builds take a little longer, and we give you a realistic timeline in your written quote.
Your fixed written quote covers the engineered plans, the Australian-made materials, the concrete footings, the council permits, the in-house installation and the site clean-up, plus the lifetime workmanship guarantee and the manufacturer warranties on the steel and Colorbond.
Yes. We can wire the structure for ceiling fans and lighting and fit an insulated Colorbond roof that keeps the space cooler in summer and quieter in the rain. We talk through the extras you want at the measure so they're built in from the start.

Permits & Service Areas
Approvals & Where We Build
Often yes, depending on the size, the position on your block and your local council. The good news is we handle the council permits and shire approvals for you as part of the job, so you don't have to chase the paperwork.
We work across the Perth metro councils, including the Cities of Joondalup, Stirling, Fremantle, Subiaco, Canning, Wanneroo, Rockingham and Mandurah, plus the Town of Cottesloe and the City of Swan. We know the local requirements and lodge the approvals for you.
We build right across the Perth metro area, from the western suburbs and the coast to the northern corridor, the eastern estates and down to the Peel region around Mandurah. If you're not sure whether we reach your street, just ask when you book your measure.
Yes. Every Perth Pergola Co build is backed by a lifetime workmanship guarantee, on top of the manufacturer warranties on the BlueScope steel and Colorbond.
